At five months old, Thing 3 looks like an offspring of the Michelin Man. For a long time, he wasn’t able to turn over because of the extra, shall we say, chub. This kid has a great future as an offensive lineman in the NFL. Or maybe as an actor playing a young Jabba the Hut.

He is SO cute.
My girls were both over 20 pounds at 6 months old. Instead of ankles they had cankles. Instead of wrists they had wrarms. We could hide money in their rolls.

I always get the other side of it. My son is 3 and he weighs 30 pounds. I get comments like, he’s so tiny.
I love to say, “Really? You think he’s tiny? Well, ok thank you!– And he won’t have obesity issues either.
