Lil’bug asks for time-outs now. If we’re out she’ll tell me she wants to go home to sit in time out. It gets worse? I don’t remember that with Scout, but then, he was a handful from birth until, oh…I’ll let you know. I’m waiting for Lil’bug’s ‘princess’ stage. You know, that phase 5-yo girls go through when they think the rules don’t apply to them because they’re princesses. I’ve seen it so many times (nieces, neighbors).

LOL…I warn everyone that it is the THREE’S you got to watch out for!! We just had one turn 4 last week….his younger brother will be three in 8 months. At least we get a small break!

Ronen turns 3 in a couple of weeks. The past few months have been…challenging. I need to work on the way I respond to the tantrums. I think most of the frustration is coming from the fact that my old tricks don’t work anymore, and I haven’t learned new ones that do.

Time to re-read “How To Talk So Your Children Will Listen”, I guess.

We have a two year old that just started the annoying tantrums of a typical kid his age. I can’t imagine what he’ll be like at three….oh wait, I can now.
