I’ve been trying to improve my Spanish, so I figured what better way to practice than to translate my writings on potty training and travel horror stories.
So, I’m excited to announce the Spanish language version of SuburbanDaddy is ready.
In case you were wondering, potty in Spanish is “orinal”. SuburbanDaddy is “Daddy Suburbano”.
And, interestingly enough, the most popular word in Thing 2’s vocabulary, “NO”, is the same in English and Spanish. Go figure.

I am trying to learn Spanish myself. I’m in my fourth (and, unfortunately, probably last, at least for a while) semester at the local juco.
I’m desperately trying to find a way to be able to learn more- or at the very least, to be able to retain what I’ve already learned. I’m even considering subscribing to something in Spanish (People, Maxim, Reader’s Digest, whatever) just to have something in Spanish to read. Hopefully, SuburbanDaddy en español may just help me stay fresh.
Or at least not go completely stale.
